From the QR Mapping tab, you can print each volunteer’s QR code on a check-in card, or as small stickers. Print everyone in the list, or only the people you pick.

Getting to printing in QR Mapping

With the QR Admin or Admin level, choose QR Code Check-in at the top of any page. On a phone, it’s in the menu.

The header, with the QR Code Check-in tab highlighted between My Hours and Help.

Choose the QR Mapping tab (1), then your Region and Location (2).

The QR Mapping tab (1), and Region set to Northwest and Location set to Seattle (2), above the search box and buttons.

Then choose 🖨️ in the row of buttons.

The QR Mapping toolbar, with the printer button highlighted between the delete and camera buttons.

The printer button is greyed out when the list is empty.

Choosing who to print

Choose Print all in the list to print everyone in the list, on every page. If you’ve searched, only the people who match are printed. To pick people instead, choose Select Specific Records.

The Print QR Code Labels window, with Print all in the list (6) and Select Specific Records highlighted.

Picking people with Select Specific Records

Tick each person you want, then choose Print Selected. Select All ticks everyone in the list, on every page.

Kenji Morita and Rosa Delgado-Herrera ticked, the bar reading 2 of 6 selected, and Print Selected (2) highlighted.

Choosing a card or stickers

There are two designs. The TCNY Volunteer Check-In Card is the card the New York office (TCNY) uses: a wallet-sized card with the office’s name, the volunteer’s name and their code. You type in your own office’s name, so any office can use it. Sample QR stickers hold only the code, so volunteers can stick them on an ID card they already have.

Select Print Template, showing a Sample QR sticker and the TCNY Volunteer Check-In Card, with the card highlighted.

Setting up the TCNY Volunteer Check-In Card

Type your office’s name in English and in Chinese, for example Seattle Branch and 美國 西雅圖支會. The card starts with New York’s names each time, so type them each time you print. The preview shows the first cards as they’ll print.

Print settings with Region (English) set to Seattle Branch and Region (Chinese) to 美國 西雅圖支會, and the first card showing them.

Printing with Print

When the preview is ready, choose Print. The cards open in a new tab, with your browser’s print window. Eight cards fit on a letter-size page.

Previewing 6 of 6 records, with the Print button highlighted.

If the new tab doesn’t open, the page says your browser may be blocking pop-ups. Allow them for this site, then choose Print again.

Printing Sample QR stickers

Choose the code’s size and the space around it to fit your sticker paper. Each sticker has a light dashed outline to cut along.

Good to know

  • Labels print in the list’s order: by first name, unless you sorted the list another way.
  • Page Margin sets the space at the edge of the paper. It stays as you set it until you reload the page.
  • To check whose code is on a card, use the camera lookup on the QR Mapping tab; see Linking volunteers to their QR codes.
