Manage Volunteers lists the volunteers you look after, with their location and group, and opens each one’s service hours.
Which volunteers are in Manage Volunteers
You see the volunteers your Admin level covers. A level is set for a location, and often for one group there: for example, the Tzu Ching group at Seattle Branch, or everyone at Seattle Branch. Some cover a whole region, or one group across a region. If you need to see other volunteers, tell your regional office what you need them for; see Getting help.
Getting to Manage Volunteers
With the Admin level, choose Manage Volunteers at the top of any page. On a phone, it’s in the menu.
Finding a volunteer in Manage Volunteers
Type a first or last name, a location or a group in the search box. The list shows only the volunteers who match, and the count beside the box says how many.
Choosing columns in Manage Volunteers
Choose ⚙️ beside the title.
Tick the columns you want, then choose Save Preferences. Region is off at first; turn it on to see each volunteer’s region. Reset to Defaults puts the columns back. Your choice is saved for you, in this browser.
Seeing a volunteer’s hours from Manage Volunteers
Choose View Hours on the volunteer’s row.
Their hours open in the same tab, one row per shift. The date range, search and Hours Summary work as in My Hours. The ⚙️ settings there are your own My Hours settings, whoever’s hours you’re viewing.
Good to know
- To sort the list, choose the First Name or Last Name heading. Choose it again to reverse the order.
- To move a column, drag the ⋮⋮ handle at the start of its heading.
- The list shows 10 volunteers a page at first. Choose 25, 50 or 100 per page under the list.
Screenshots and clips show sample data, not real volunteers.
